Fuelling Change – Broadening Foundations’ Catalytic Toolbox

In 2023, Impact Europe’s members continued to explore the role of Catalytic Capital as a vital accelerator for impact investing. Activities ranging from e-talks and blogposts to Impact Week and the release of Impact Europe’s whitepaper ‘Catalysing Impact’, all looked to showcase and explain our community’s belief in this form of capital.

To kick-off 2024, and support the role of Foundations as catalysts, we hosted an e-talk on Tuesday 9th April at 14.00 CET on “Fuelling Change: Broadening Foundations’ Catalytic Toolbox”.

Three expert practitioners – Senior Investor Relations Director of the End Fund, Deputy CEO of the Rank Foundation and Chief Financial Officer of the Sumerian Foundation – shared their differing approaches to using their foundation’s toolbox for impact.

Experts shared their challenges, learnings and rationale for choosing differing approaches, aiming to help others understand the range of tools available and feel better equipped to decide the route best suited for them.

In addition, Impact Europe members will also have the chance for a one-hour informal conversation with speakers and each others on Tuesday 16th April at 14.00 CET.
