Our third session will be dedicated to media representatives and explore the evolution of responsibility and sustainability discourse in the press.
The third webinar in our popular CEE Webinar Series "Impact Investing - theory and practice" on 11 February was dedicated to media representatives. As we recognise the crucial role media plays in creating a responsible and impact investing ecosystem, and following the saying "media’s carbon footprint is small, but brain print is big", we invited editors, publishers and journalists to join this webinar.
What is this webinar about?
We will explore the evolution of responsibility and sustainability discourse in the press. Our guest speakers will share their journey towards leading sustainable change in financial markets and spreading the impact economy concept. Together with our guests, we will explore critical topics for the coming year, such as greenwashing, solutions journalism, media investigations in responsibility related topics and policy changes. We will go beyond CSR-related corporate press releases and explore ways in which media can engage in covering environmental, social and governance aspects of corporates and investing institutions to drive the change towards stakeholders capitalism.
