What you need to know about our self-paced learning courses

Impact Europe is taking forward Efiko Academy's course catalogue, embedding it within its wider learning programme for the impact ecosystem. Efiko Academy developed and refined a series of courses and resources over several years, training thousands of professionals and building a track record of high learner satisfaction. Impact Europe acquired Efiko's curriculum to offer it as part of its learning programme and to bring the courses to its community of practitioners at the heart of the European investing for impact ecosystem.

The course catalogue covers five topics at the moment:

• Catalytic Deal Structuring
• Theory of Change Design
• Impact Measurement: Applying the Principles of Social Value and SROI
• Impact Finance Launch Pad: Induction Phase 
• Impact Finance Launch Pad: Growth Phase

Each course is co-developed with Efiko Academy and a recognised expert or standard-setter and built around short videos, practical exercises and practitioner testimonials like FASE or Social Value International.  

You can take the courses fully online at your own pace. All courses are in English, subtitled and designed to be accessible for non-native speakers.

Who is it for

The courses are relevant across the investing for impact continuum:

• Fund managers and investment teams use them to build a shared internal language on IMM.
• Foundation staff and public funders use them to strengthen how they define and measure impact.

Most courses require no prior specialist knowledge. Basic financial literacy is enough for the finance-focused content.

Each course includes pracitcal tools you can apply directly to your own work: impact maps, indicator frameworks, Theory of Change templates, deal structuring approaches, valuation methodologies. More than 70% of learners report making significant progress in building their skillset.
