The Ageas Foundation is a Corporate Foundation belonging to Grupo Ageas Portugal with the status of Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS) and of public utility, bringing together people and partners. Launched in 1998, the Foundation recently reviewed its strategy aiming for a new approach to Philanthropy (Impact Investing), to help scale social innovation projects in the areas of "Health", "Aging" and "Social Exclusion." Simultaneously, the Foundation is investing in its social investment policy, decentralising its volunteering initiatives and reinforcing its work on capacity building for individuals and social economy entities.
