Magda Krakowiak

Magda Krakowiak is Impact Europe’s Market Development Lead for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). A lawyer by training, she quickly found her calling in innovation and impact. For over a decade, she has supported start-ups, designed EU-funded programmes, and built partnerships across Europe.

Her expertise spans health and deep tech, early-stage investing, international science collaboration, and regional innovation policy. She works at the intersection of research and entrepreneurship—strengthening innovation ecosystems by connecting scientists, investors, and innovation hubs. She continues to contribute to major European initiatives focused on health innovation and venture support.

Magda is a strong advocate for equity in innovation, committed to bridging the East-West divide by mobilising capital, knowledge, and networks where they’re needed most.

Earlier in her career, she represented Polish universities in Brussels and volunteered with youth leadership programmes across CEE. She holds a Master’s in Law from the University of Warsaw and speaks Polish, English, and Russian fluently, with independent proficiency in Dutch.
