On Monday, 25 September, EVPA member organisations from the German-speaking countries as well as some other guests will come together in Munich for the annual country meeting.
The event, hosted and supported by BMW Foundation Herbret Quandt, will focus on how to meet the challenges concerning the current refugee crisis through investments into social enterprise.
Apart from the interactive exchange of ideas and field visit, the participants will have a pleasure to listen to the event keynote speaker, Jane Newman, who will introduce the topic from a UK perspective. Afterwards, there will be a panel discussion with experienced impact investors and EVPA member organisations, such as BonVenture, Ananda - Social Venture Fund, BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and Canopus Foundation.
In the afternoon, participants will rejoin at SchlaU-Schule, Schwanthalerstraße 2, 80336 München where there will be show-cases of the successful work of two social enterprises who are both focusing on the education and integration of young refugees into the workforce.
