The IMM Peer Lab is a peer-learning course for experienced practitioners who want to strengthen how they implement Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) across the full funding cycle — from investment strategy and due diligence to investment management and exit.
How it works
It is built around real challenges brought in by participants and addressed through structured, facilitated peer exchange. Rather than focusing on predefined cases or rigid frameworks, the Peer Lab creates the space to reflect on how IMM is used in practice and how it can better support decision-making.
Throughout the course, participants explore their cases with a systems-aware perspective. This means recognising interdependencies, trade-offs, and the limits of linear cause-effect logic, while staying firmly grounded in practical IMM questions and funding processes.
The goal is to help participants use IMM more coherently and effectively. It is not as a separated reporting exercise, but an integrated management tool that supports learning, adaptation, and better funding decisions in complex contexts.
The in-person course is followed by one online session later this year. The online session revisits core themes from the in-person meeting, shares key insights, and includes additional input and feedback from the team — helping to deepen learning and connect individual experiences to broader trends and practice.

This course is happening during Impact Europe's Impact Days in June.
Impact Days 2026 is Impact Europe's flagship convening positioning systems change as the overarching imperative for the investing for impact community. Held in Brussels, the event leverages Europe's unique policy environment and EU institutional infrastructure to explore how capital providers can mobilize the full stack of capital, from concessional to commercial, to drive systemic transformation.
For a full experience, we recommend participating in both, the IMM Peer Lab and Impact Days. But it is also possible to attend only the IMM Peer Lab.
Agenda will follow soon.
