Circularity and Informality: Redefining Narratives

Do we miss something when we talk about the circular economy? The role of workers in the circular economy, particularly informal ones, is often overlooked. IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, Ashoka, and the UNDP Accelerator Labs teamed up to explore the narratives at the intersection of the circular economy and the informal economy. Through global collective intelligence, this paper uncovers four key dilemmas and poses five critical questions for stakeholders to consider to deepen their understanding of this complex area.
